EYES WITHOUT BRIGHTNESS

EYES WITHOUT BRIGHTNESS expresses thoughts from a person who was supposed to be close to death. Because that person was sick. And you can know more about this in the words here.

2–3 minutes
I thought I would die
I thought I would die
Liquids came out from my throat
I thought I would die.
Pain over my body
Chills in my skin
No liquids in my body
My kidneys were thirsty.
Trying to breathe
No brightness in my eyes
White in my nails
I thought I would die.
I thought I would die
I thought I would die
I thought I would die
I thought I would die.
I couldn't feel my energy
My throat couldn’t see the end
Because it wasn’t stopping
Even the fact that my stomach was empty.
I thought I would die
I counted the guys by my side
Because I really know who are the men for fun
And I know who are the men for life
I’m not kidding about this
I thought I would die.
Yes, I thought I would die
I guess it was a possibility
It was not because, after a long time, it stopped
But up to there my powers were off
I don’t have problems about death
My problem: I can’t die from vomiting a lot
Because it’s a humiliation
But I thought I would die
Yes, I thought I would die
If that wasn’t stopped
Yes, I would die.
I need to be kind with me
I need to hug myself
I need to breathe slowly
I need to wake up only to admire the sunrise
I’m exhausted
And I don’t have time to stop
My brain is on fire
My soul is screaming
My body feels pain
And my eyes need something.
I thought I would die
I thought I would die
I thought I would die
I thought I would die.
I thought I would die
Strange sounds from my throat
I thought I would die
My stomach was damaged
I thought I would die
I couldn’t see the end
I thought I would die
My eyes were begging to the sun
I thought I would die
I couldn’t stand up
I thought I would die
Chills were kissing my skin
I thought I would die
Pills came to me
I thought I would die
Medications in my vein
I thought I would die
My eyes closed to rest.
I thought I would die
Unbearable pain over me
But my eyes were opening
And day after day
My energy was coming back to me.
