The spring flowers are dead
We knew they wouldn’t survive to the winter
I understand you, I understand you
And I’m not understanding why you’re upset
I told you, “Don’t be in love, darling!”
I told you, man, “Don’t be in love!”
So I say, “Why are you upset?”
Your stupid promises could not make me stay
Because a relationship needs something more
And your stupid promise was your dick
Not enough to keep breathing a relationship.
I’m not blaming you, and I don’t blame myself
About this I can say I have been sleeping well
Because we knew the end’s face
And the winter was in every street corner
It was ready to smash the flowers
Because our garden was at the mercy of the seasons.
Don’t use the excuse that you tried
I screamed, “Help!” and I listened to the nothing
I’m not blaming you, I’m just explaining
Because the winds want to know about this
How the spring flowers died
And we knew about this happening
We knew about the winter.
It was something fast
It was something good
I was not yours
And you weren’t my man either
So the flowers would die by the first winter’s blow
Why are you upset? Why are you upset?
Why are you upset? Why are you upset?
Even the birds knew about the truth
You weren’t ready for a relationship
A relationship is more than a dick
Also, I didn’t want to call you “Boyfriend!”
Because in my life you couldn’t take this position
I know you’re upset
I’m sorry, but why are you upset?

WHY ARE YOU UPSET?
